Last night: walking through Queens with a bodega sandwich in hand flanked by two old buddies, drinking Brooklyn Lager at an LIC bar, staring at the empire state/chrysler buildings while smoking on the fire escape, made me feel nostalgic for NY for the first time since leaving.
